Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
A doctor’s referral is not necessary to see us or to claim on your private health insurance.
We will consult with your G.P. or specialist if we have any concerns regarding your ongoing management.
What is the procedure for a Third Party / Workcover / DVA patient?
If you are a Veteran’s Affairs patient or are making a Workcover or Motor Vehicle claim, then a doctor’s referral is necessary. If you already have a claim number, please bring this and details of your insurer to your initial appointment.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on the type of condition being treated, whether it is acute or chronic and how much of the condition will respond to strategies that you can employ at home to assist recovery. Your physiotherapist will explain the nature of your condition and will be able to formulate a treatment / recovery plan with you.
What are your payment terms & can I claim with my health fund?
We ask that you pay on the day. If you have private health insurance we can swipe your card and your refund is paid immediately, leaving only the gap payment to be paid.
Is there a cancellation Policy?
Yes, and we would appreciate 8 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. As there are often other patients waiting for an appointment the earlier the notice, the better we can accommodate them.
