FAQ's

What will happen in my first session?

In your first session your therapist will ask you a series of questions to work out what your goals are, what you are wanting to get out of your treatments and get a sense of how your problem is affecting you.

Treatment will commence within your first session.

At the end of your session, your therapist will give you a full understanding of your diagnosis and the treatment plan required in order to reach the goals you have set together in the quickest time.

Do I have to book the treatment plan that my therapist has recommended?

Of course not! You can have a look at the plan and if you like the plan you can book it all in. If you don’t like the plan, that’s OK, just chat to your therapist about it and they will work with you and your needs. We only want to work with people who are fully on board with their plan because that’s how we get such great results for our Clients, which is the most important thing for all of us!

How long will the appointment go for?

Please allow up to 45 minutes for your first consultation with us as we do sometimes require this to perform a detailed assessment. Follow up consultations can vary from 20-30 minutes depending on what treatment is required for your case. If your case is complex, your therapist may ask you to book an extended consultation in which you will need to allow up to an hour for.

Where can I park?

We have parking available out the front and back of the building. Parking is limited, so please allow time to find alternative parking on Wells St if travelling south on Ferry Rd or Shaw St if travelling north on Ferry Rd.

Do I need to bring anything?

If you have referrals, medical test results or scans please bring them (or the reports) along with you so your therapist can examine them if required.

If you are planning to use private health insurance or Medicare funding, please also bring along those cards with you.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable loose clothing. If you are accessing our physiotherapy or remedial massage services, you may be asked for consent to remove some layers of clothing so that we can access body parts that need to be assessed or treated. Please let your therapist know if you are umcomfortable at any point doing this and we will accomodate you.

What do I do if I can’t attend my appointment?

Please call to let us know with as much notice as so we can reschedule your appointment & offer your time to someone else on our waitlist.

Will I be sent the exercises?

Yes, we will send you a Physitrack Program to your email which has videos, sets & reps to complete between your practitioner sessions.

I’m on WorkCover, what do I need to bring?

For your first session please bring along your WorkCover Medical Certificate and approval text message from WorkCover. After this, you will need to provide an updated Medical Certificate each time this certificate expires. Our lovely front desk team will remind you each time you need to provide a new one.

I’m on Third Party Insurance, what do I need to bring?

For your first session please bring along your approval letter & claim number. After your Initial Consultation with us, we will apply for any further treatment sessions required directly with your Insurer. Typically approval for these sessions takes 7-10 business days, however you can claim any costs incurred back from your Insurer once approved.

Do you accept NDIS funding for appointments?

We do accept Plan Managed & Self Managed NDIS funding, please advise our staff prior to your appointment if you wish to use your NDIS funding and we will walk you through the steps.
