Jordan Press
Jordan is a highly skilled Director and Physiotherapist at Ferry Rd Physio. With a strong academic background, having completed both his undergraduate and Masters Degree on the Gold Coast, Jordan has dedicated his career to enhancing the health and performance of his clients. His areas of interest include the treatment of jaw, neck, and headache conditions, as well as knee rehabilitation. Jordan’s passion for physiotherapy was ignited by his own experiences as a rugby league player, where he faced multiple injuries including shoulder and ACL reconstructions. He now works very closely with the students at Keebra Park as his experience in rugby league provides valuable insight into their performance on and off the field. This personal journey has equipped him with a deep understanding of injury prevention and recovery, allowing him to effectively address the root causes of physical issues. Outside of his professional life, Jordan enjoys playing rugby league and spending quality time with his family at the beach.

Sporting Journey
Rugby League and Overcoming Challenges
Jordan’s sporting journey is deeply rooted in rugby league, a sport he has passionately played for nearly two decades. His dedication to the game led him to represent NSW Country Under 18s, marking a significant milestone in his athletic career. However, the path was not without its challenges. Jordan faced multiple injury setbacks, including a shoulder stabilisation and two ACL reconstructions, which fueled his interest in physiotherapy. These experiences have equipped him with a profound understanding of the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Life Beyond the Clinic
Balancing Family and Passion
Outside of his professional commitments, Jordan cherishes his time spent with family. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life, such as weekends at the beach with his young family, where they soak up the sun and enjoy the coastal lifestyle. Despite his busy schedule, Jordan continues to play rugby league locally for the Mudgeeraba Redbacks, maintaining his connection to the sport he loves. His personal life is a testament to his ability to balance his passion for physiotherapy with family and leisure activities.
Jordan’s personal life reflects a harmonious blend of professional dedication and personal fulfillment. His weekends are often filled with family outings to the beach, where he finds relaxation and joy. Playing rugby league for the Mudgeeraba Redbacks allows him to stay active and engaged in the sport that has been a significant part of his life. This balance between work and leisure not only enriches his life but also enhances his approach to physiotherapy, providing him with a well-rounded perspective.
